In Baton Rouge for the night. Where should I take the family for dinner? Preferably seafood choices since it's Friday. Thanks

Parrain's and Chimes (half of oysters 4-7 if you want that) are always safe bets.

Thank you. Parrains is what we were thinking. I just don't get this that often and a lot has changed since I was in school

Those places are going to be packed. Well, you may luck out since LSU baseball is on the road.
Pastime has surprisingly good fried seafood.
People hate on it, but I like Acme Oyster House.

an excellent choice
the oysters and beer are cold, the fried stuff is good and it’s big enough to get seated even when busy

Parrians or the chimes is better
Get the boudan balls....
ACME is for the tourist crowd. I don't hate it but it's not my first seafood choice by any meeans.....
I find that I only go there for cold beer and oysters in the bar area
Parrians and the chimes both have raw oyster 4-7 weekdays and all day every Tuesday
