Staying at Hyatt Regency IAH next Friday night to catch an early flight on Saturday morning. Looking for a decent dinner that won't require too much of a drive away from that area. Suggestions?

Pappasitos Mexican in Humble near Deerbrook Mall. Decent Mexican Chain Restaurant.

Yeah something around here would probably be your best bet. Do you have an EZ tag? If so maybe you can hit something up on the beltway as well. If not something 59 north is what I would suggest.

Just giving this a bump to see if I have any other options for tomorrow.

Other non tex mex options:
Union Kitchen - off Kingwood Dr
Saltgrass - chain but still solid by mall area
Italianos

Jimmy G's is the best in that area, very close to the Hyatt. They have legit char-grilled oysters.
Your second best bet is Lupe Tortilla on I-45.
Those are the only two I would strongly endorse. If you are in a pinch, the aforementioned Pappasito's or Spanish Flowers will do.

On North Main? If you're going to send him in this direction, at least give him recs of decent restaurants-Pinkerton's, Cantina Barba, Teotihuacan.

Why would I suggest North Main? Lupe and Spanish Flowers are next to each other on I45 just north of the Beltway. Right near the Hyatt.

This.
And they have an awesome crabmeat au gratin. Good luck finding anything comparable at any other area seafood restaurant.
The decor is outdated. But the food is legit.

Tita’s Taco House are the best tacos in the Houston area.

Place is terrible
Last time I got stuck in that area I went to Papasito’s
There is also a Pappa’s Seafood near there on I-45
