Looking to get my brother a meat thermometer for Christmas. Yall have any recommendations? Honestly I will use it as well as I do a lot of cooking over there. He doesnt need anything fancy just a quick and accurate time.
Are these good?

Thermoworks - Thermapen
This is the gold standard and on sale.
If you want cheaper, there are other options.

Thermoworks Thermapen
I’ve had mine for years.
If this one would ever break I’d get another
They just can’t be beat

Thermapen Mk 4 is my favorite. Has backlight and auto-rotate features. I bought one, even though my classic still works, just for those great features. Have also given as much appreciated gifts.
I smoke and grill at night often, and that backlight frees up a hand that used to have to hold a flashlight. Auto-rotate is handy when checking at odd angles, like birds on a rotisserie that need to be checked in a couple of spots,
Thermopop is a good option of you don’t want to spend as much.

I don’t cook meat without this in arm’s reach. Highly recommend.
