I've been to both recently, and I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I enjoyed my meal at Desi (in Metairie mind you) more than Mr. Johns.

on 1/13/21 at 10:55 am to Sherman KlumpDesi metairie has turned the corner as of a few months ago. I think they were forced to get their shite together when the crowds flooded them due to Covid and the city mandates. It was pretty crappy the first year or so they were open
