Moro, taracco, or sanguinello?

I’m not sure the variety, I have two but they never produced fruit for 8-10 years, then they were both loaded this year. Worth the wait for sure. They have been growing fast and healthy with lots of new growth each year, just no fruit till this year.

Probably trees grown from seed instead of from graft. Trees from seed can take over a decade to fruit.

I have an Excalibur dehydrator. I mostly dry herbs and Kale in it. I would think it would be perfect for fruit. My brother does a lot of fruit. Says the key is to keep the thickness the same for even drying

I've dried Kale, herbs, hot peppers for pepper flakes and a lot of beef jerky on mine over the years.

I now do my jerky in a big home built smoker and it is a better product when smoked.

I did Ghost Peppers for flakes one time and I could tolerate it, but my wife had to leave the house until I put the machine out on the back porch and aired out the house. She walked toward the kitchen and got to the doorway and teared up and started coughing, so it had to go outside till done.

Man, those oranges are beautiful! I keep thinking how amazing that juice would be in a mimosa.
