Will be there for a softball tournament this weekend. Decent places to eat for a family? We will of course have younger kids with us, but would like to figure out where is a decent spot to get a beer/burger or marg/Mexican.

Those seem to be the go to with the window lickers tagging along.

Mugshots
Sullys
Ed's Burger Joint
All the mexican is pretty much the same other than Mexican Kitchen. I love the Kitchen but it's an aquired taste.

A shame that the Baton Rouge location didn’t make it. I thought that their burgers were pretty good.

The family and I stopped at Crescent City Grill last week on the way to BR. We really enjoyed the food and the service was great.

Crescent City and Ed's, the Burger place next door. There is also a Mexican joint on the other side of CC.

Midtowner is kid friendly.

Take the kids to Ed’s. It’s kind of annoying, but we always went for tournaments and the kids love it. Food is good, beer is good (don’t wait in line for a refill)…

Your family (and you) will like Ed's. The burgers and atmosphere are nice.

Silly’s is great food and a good price. Packed every time I’ve gone.

Ed's is a great setup for teams, as well as Mugshots.
I believe it is the original Mugshots, and its pretty good.
There is also a Walk-On's in that same area.

It’s not the original Mugshots. The original opened in 2004 on W. 4th street.
