Gio’s has very good pizza, definitely one of the better places in Metairie. But it’s not at the level of other places in the city.

I think the old Portnoy scale would’ve probably had a Tower in the 7.6 range. Haven’t had il Supremo but it looks to be a high 7s, low 8. I would have pegged Gio’s in the 6.9 - 7.1 range

Not many pies in Metry that you will go out of your way for.

I just saw the OT thread where you said Gio’s is the best in NOLA Metro and better than Tower Say you grew up in North Bridgedale and played at Miley without saying you grew up in North Bridgedale and played at Miley

You almost profiled me except I didn’t play at the cesspool they call Miley. I do stand by what I said though that Gios pizza is slightly better than Tower. Tower has just too much grease, but it’s still great pizza. I probably go to Tower more because their salad is top notch.

ha. I'm a Cleary Rebel from Bridgedale. Haven't had Gio's in a while. Might have to revisit.

Agree with list earlier that said Zees, iL Supremo, and St Pizza are top of the table these days.

FYI he also went to That's Amore yesterday

Interested to see where else he goes.

He rented a house in Old Metry

Same thing i thought. I've never seen it mentioned. I tried a slice the other day from a Pizza a friend got on Doordash from a place in Old Metairie called Il Supremo that was really good.
