Gio’s has very good pizza, definitely one of the better places in Metairie. But it’s not at the level of other places in the city.

I think the old Portnoy scale would’ve probably had a Tower in the 7.6 range. Haven’t had il Supremo but it looks to be a high 7s, low 8. I would have pegged Gio’s in the 6.9 - 7.1 range

You almost profiled me except I didn’t play at the cesspool they call Miley. I do stand by what I said though that Gios pizza is slightly better than Tower. Agree with list earlier that said Zees, iL Supremo, and St Pizza are top of the table these days.

Same thing i thought. I've never seen it mentioned. I tried a slice the other day from a Pizza a friend got on Doordash from a place in Old Metairie called Il Supremo that was really good.
