Just saw this on the Twitter. Anyone tried any of these beers yet? I'll pick up a sixer of the IPA to give it a shot.

Their brews are okay. They have yet to knock one out of the park.

+1. I'm not sure who's grabbing Crying Eagles beers over anything else when going shopping now. They're very meh.

It is one of the worst breweries in the state. Woodchuck did them a favor when they sued them over their beer "the Chuck". That was their signature beer and was terrible even by the low standards of a golden ale.

Sad to say that the new LA Lager they replaced it with is even worse imo

Guess I'll stick with my Jucifer/Holy Roller rotation. Awesome to have such delicious daily drinkers so easily available.

I've had a few of their beers and I've yet to try one that I want to buy again. It's not bad, it's just meh. Too much other good stuff out there to get me to buy this.

I stopped by on the way to Houston last year... the space is beautiful but all the beers were lacking. They really needed a lot of work on the brewing end. I haven't had any reason to buy them since they have been in BR, so many better options on the shelves.

The original lineup just didn't have anything in my preferred style, but the new IPA is a move in a better direction, IMO (even if I'd consider it more of a pale ale than a true IPA, but I'm a hop bomb kind guy). When the hop-blooded hits the shelves I'll buy it for a light, easy drinking pale ale because it's local. Plus, it's a good place to hang out and the owners are good people, so I wish them well.

I wish they would can more of the things they have at the brewery, my favorite ones have been ones at the taproom, by far. They had a few single hop IPAs at the tap room last week that were the best thing they've done yet, and had a good black IPA. They're by no means Parish yet, but I think they seem to be moving the right way lately.

I live down the street from it and pretty much this. I love to go there and play some corn hole. The beers are secondary.
