Thinking about riding over to BB to check it out. Is it worth the drive?

The prices are insane. Almost $10/lb. I guess it's for tourists.

Is this real? Almost 10 bucks a pound?

Im not sure what you are looking for but I can assure you whatever it is there are much better options within 10-15 minute drive. That place is very much for tourists IMO

I've lived in Laffy for 35 yrs, been to Crawfish Town once when my parents suggested it as a place to eat when they came to visit. Was not impressed and never had a desire to go back. Being that it's located off I-10 and near Cajun Palms, it definitely attracts tourists traveling the I-10 corridor. I do not believe locals go there to eat.
$10 a pound for boiled crawfish is close to the restaurant market price. 3 weeks ago I paid $39.99 for a 5-pound order at Crawfish Time in Laffy. If going to BB, go to Buck & Johnny's or Poche Bridge, call first to see if either are selling boiled crawfish.

Not for boiled crawfish but they have some decent lunch specials.

Go to Cajun Claws in Abbeville instead. Get there EARLY.
