Is it still BYOF?

Bring Your Own Furniture? Hands down the most aesthetically unpleasant brewery I've ever seen. Almost like they made an effort to appear cheap. Metal school chairs and cable spindles turned into tables.

I still had a good time when we visited a few months back. Solid looking taplist. When we went he only had 3-4 of his beers and the rest were guest taps. Good to see him pull out a bigger lineup.

I'm bringing my own chair on Saturday. Did the same for the grand opening.

There are probably 15-20 chairs inside. Not certain how many are outside, but it sounds like they still have the same furniture that you weren't thrilled about.

Counted 50 plus chairs last night. Not too mention the whole loading dock.

I like my breweries less appealing. Keeps the pretentious beer twats out.

If you can't stand through 3-4 beers you might need to reevaluate.

I agree with this. I typically go on week days and never have an issue grabbing a chair, though.

Finally made it there for the first time last night. It's WAY nicer than Port/Lost Abbey, and I have driven from LA to go there twice. I'm with ft on this.

Scott is a great guy to know in the industry who devotes many hours to provide great beer and bring some new players to the industry. Without him we wouldn't have seen Alpine this year.

Courtyard isn't about aesthetics, it's about people making great beer in an affordable environment where you can meet people who are just as passionate about craft beer as you guys are. The Lonesome Traveler series is some of the better single hop IPAs coming out of a small batch system, and they're gonna keep getting better.

First years are rough, but these guys deserve the respect and support they've worked for. I(Garrett) will always have respect and love for Courtyard. Have a good weekend and jamboree guys, be safe

Lonesome Traveler: Nelson on tap. Great way too start the morning.

Looks like they are setup for a crowd, already worked their asses of and no beer has been served.
