Countertop fryer recommendations

Looking for a decent countertop fryer. I have a small fry-daddy type but it just doesn't have the power to efficiently cook (it takes multiple batches because you can only put a scoop of fries or 3-4 filets of fish in at a time or it takes forever for the oil to come back up to temp and i end up with soggy results.
I'd prefer something open that i can use a spider with to scoop food out instead of one with built in baskets. But the main thing is it needs to have some arse behind it to cook efficiently.

I have this one, got one when they were $99. It work good for a family of 4. Only problem I have is that is not ti easy to clean. If you frying a lot I would get the double basket.
My single takes about 1 1/3 - 1 1/2 gallons.

Fits on one stovetop burner.

Most of the countertop models tap out just short of what you need. The ones that have the largest oil capacity take longer to get to temp, but tolerate temperature swings better. Natural gas or propane is the way to fry.
Most modern homes have kitchen outlets rated 15 or 20 amps. The amount of outlets sharing that circuit can lower that rating if they are in use which can trip the breaker.
20 amps X 120 volts equals 2,400 watts.
15 amps X 120 volts equals 1,800 watts.
Most household appliances come in at around 1500 watts. That's under-powered for frying seafood unless in tiny batches. You can find some 1800 watt fryers out there, but you may trip some breakers.
I like the dutch oven idea.

Having said all that, them Mawmaws that fried chicken, fish, shrimp and everything else usually did it in about an inch deep of oil in an iron skillet. Nothing wrong with that. It does get on the wall and counters, and stinks up the house. When I fry, I fry outdoors.

I use the Presto Dual Daddy w/o the partition.
Fry with it outside at the house and the camp. At the camp when its time to wash it, I pour the oil out wipe it with paper towels and heat water in the pot - add the soap once unplugged as the soap will bubble and overflow pot.
It won't cook enough for whole family at one time, but works great for the price and is superior to the tiny Fry Daddy.
Looks like they went down to $40. Just ordered a backup.
