I wondered the same thing as soon as I saw the word maybe's in the previous post. Diane was a nut back in the day!

Do locals in Monroe still go to the airport bar, or did the TSA regulations kill that? I remember my sister went there when she was at NLU. Sort of like the Happy Note in Baton Rouge as far as strong drinks.

Eta: haven't been to airport lounge since college, although my kids used to talk about going there when they were in college.

Last time I was n town, tried to go.... No more Airport Lounge. Airport evidently was renovated and no longer has one..... "Long Island Iced Tea"

for jamie mayo, yeah it does..

maybe he thinks travelers will get off their plane, ride in a taxi 6 miles to go get drunk, get disturbing the peace ticket, go to jail, bail out of jail, check in hotel, go back to airport next day... Sounds like "REVENUE"...

Used to work at Chelsea St Pub in college, the Airport Lounge was the only place we could make it in time to after closing, best Long Island Teas ever

Back to OP - I was extremely against Cotton when it first opened because of severe service issues that lasted longer than I thought they would.

After finally agreeing to go again several months after they opened, I couldn't be more happy.

I now go about once a week for dinner, love shooting the shite with Corey, and am really excited about the new fall menu.

OTIS2 - when are we going to grab a couple of beers and enjoy some good Cotton food?

We'll have to do that. Haven't been in a few months.
