If you like dark roast this is some of the best coffee beans I have gotten from Costco.

Either that's tea or the weakest cup of coffee I've ever seen.

We love these beans also. We usually buy ruta maya and this might be better than that.

I've had coffee like that before at Tupelo Honey's in Asheville. It was pretty awful.
My favorite coffee right now is Congregation Coffee (out of Algiers) Gallop Blend.
Bought a bag of Onyx Monarch Espresso blend yesterday. Interested to try that as well. I think Onyx is out of Arkansas.

Yep, a good cup of CDM or Community would probably kill him/her.

We got some of those beans a few months ago. Very good but I feel the Cameron is a bit more richer.

Onyx is based in Fayetteville and is my favorite roaster right now. Panther out of Miami also has some good beans.
Spitfire in the Quarter is a great shop to try high quality coffee not tied to one roaster.

I honestly thought about replying with a can of beer behind a glass of sparkling water to let everyone know how great the beer is.

sometimes I have to test you baws to see if you can see the forest through the trees.

FWIW I'm always looking for good coffee that doesn't cost a fortune, so I appreciate the thread.

Any idea how old those beans are from roasting?
Posted on 7/2/18 at 3:27 pm to Pettifogger
does not have a roasting date but it does says, use by 4/19/19.
For those who are still confused here is an unencumbered photo

Bought a bag this past weekend, but haven't finished what's open yet. Agree about the Ruta Maya, that was my favorite, but I haven't seen in the BR Costco for at least six months.

Got this the last two trips to make iced coffee. Add 1/2 cup of chicory and it is fantastic!
