Had some delicious King from Copper River last night. Sockeye is a little slow in coming in.

Fresh Seafood from Pike's Market in Seattle is my go to.

Quit crying in your Filet o Fish, peasant.. I didn't mention what I paid for it.. and you definitely don't know.

I've bought some from Central Market in Houston that was really good, a couple years ago.

The year, the smell in the kitchen was not like any salmon I've ever cooked and the taste was like butter. Melts in the mouth. Pan seared in Ghee, seasoned with Paul Prudhomme's Seafood Magic. Paired with a light Gewurztraminer from Alsace. Extraordinary.

My go to is the Columbia river. Catching it yourself is as fresh as it gets.

Oh....we know. Fishermen make fun of folks like you paying that absurd price for nothing but hype.

Eta...thought this was the OT

So, you didn't pay the high prices that are well known there?

Is that what you're saying?

You literally said

So you do pay that if you buy from them...

Yes sir! Just a few days ago the price was listed on a fishing group I'm in.

We know exactly what he paid.

The same fish was MUCH cheaper elsewhere.

No. I did not literally say anything. Troll. It was posted on a message board.

Does not indicate to you, what was paid, who paid it, or that payment is any of your concern.

But by all means.. Please continue to troll.

Speaking of salmon.

Just got word the Columbia will reopen for rec fishermen.

Was sturgeon fishing this weekend but it has been slow.

Now I'm gonna pack my salmon rods.

Funny thing is it'll cost the OP more for 1 fish than it will for me to have a yurt on the Columbia for 3 days, plus fuel and bait.

And we will hook up!

If a place is your go to, and they charge a certain price, that's what you've paid if you purchase from them.

Unless you lied about it being your go to.
