We went to Brigtsen's on Tuesday and tried their Coolinary. Excellent! Of course, everything at the restaurant is amazing but I felt their coolinary menu was one of the best I saw online and for 3 courses and $38.00, you can't beat that.

I've never been, and that's one of the menus that appealed to me on the Coolinary. I'm going to check it out.

Patois is on my list. Primitivo and Kenton's look interesting as well.

Not been this year yet but my favorite last year was Cafe Adelaide stop we'll hit that up again. Primitive is my top lunch target.

Does anyone else feel like most of these are not great deals? With the dinners in particular, I feel like it's often just equivalent of a free dessert that I probably don't want anyway. Some good values, but most seems pretty meh, unless you're into free dessert.

I completely agree. I just don't get the Coolinary hype. For two persons you spend $78 on food. On a normal basis, we would probably get 2 apps and two entrees (of our choice) and spend a little less than the $78, but I wouldn't be restricted to a limited menu. I mean a lot of these appetizer options are just a soup or salad.

I kind of agree about it not being a great deal for the most part.
It's just like the December special menus that come out. I assume that business really isn't nearly as slow these days as when they started these programs so they don't feel the need to cut prices.

If I go, I think I'm doing Commanders.
