I use Alton Brown’s recipe with pickle juice, dry mustard, yogurt, etc. It has a pop.
We love it, but most diabetic lardasses want some sugar-coated recipe and don’t care for it.

I’m just telling the truth. We like it. Most other people who try it hate it. They want sweet. If that’s you, avoid it. If you don’t demand sweet cole slaw, give it a try.

There was a small restaurant chain years ago called "cock of the walk". Some of you will know it. It was a catfish joint that served, what i thought was the best cole slaw around.
Here's a knock off of the recipe for those who know the restaurant and want to duplicate the slaw.
One 14oz bag of slaw mix with or without carrots
1/4 cup green onion chopped
1/4 cup chopped sweet onion
1/4 bell pepper chopped
1/8 cup of sugar
1/2 tblsp black pepper
1/2 tblsp garlic powder
1/2 tblsp seasoned salt (whatever flavor. I used zatarains)
1/2 tblsp white vinegar
1/2 cup mayo

I hate to admit it, but I love KFC' coleslaw. I only eat there about once a year. The slaw is the only thing that the chain sells that is good. About fifteen years ago, a regional manager gave me the recipe for their slaw.
