Might be the worst thing on the planet and is an embarrassment to the Tex Mex delicacy called Queso. Whoever put this concoction together clearly is not from Texas.

Really though it's awful.

You can frick right off.

Chipotle queso sucks on it’s own, but in a burrito mixed with the hot salsa, it’s good.

This is such a hardcore, terminal-stage hipster take.

I grew up in Alexandria with Cucco’s, or some shite, and El Chico’s...give me a break, that shite was barely edible.

Basing your entire feelings about tex mex on that seems a bit misguided no?

Well I’m not traveling to Texas just to eat refried beans and horse meat. No, I think staying away from a horrible genre of food is warranted based on personal experience.

I moved one state to the east just to get away from Texas, and it’s been liberating.

It's chicken and sirloin steak dude. No one is asking you to go somewhere to try it, but the tone of your post is if you were in Texas you wouldn't try what's regarded as the best tex mex place because you've already made up your mind on it based on some place in Alexandria.

Check out that cat’s posts on his attire, car mods, and home decor. He gets off on being an oddball with hot takes.

My wife went to ASH and used to bring me to that Cuccos. Dear lord that was painful.

Now Suburban Garden was good. It was the brother of the Giamanco’s here in BR.

I’m ok with some Tex Mex just not a big fan of rice and beans.

RoTel and Velvetta is as good as can be.

Year she graduate ASH? I went to Menard, class of ‘92, but I dated a cheerleader at ASH most of the time. Hung out a with many ASH folk in my time around there.

The bar at Suburban Gardens was one of the coolest places in A-town.

You can understand my aversion to TexMex based on Cuccos. Gosh those black refried beans I will never forget.

I love the stuff, but it is often loaded with terrible ingredients. Primarily vegetable oil.

You might not like the Chipotle queso, but the ingredients don't look bad.

Chipotle Queso

Hardly the worst thing on the planet.

Jokes on you. You live in Mississippi.

I can walk in any direction and find decent to great tacos in 5 minutes. Nothing with a hard shell. Those originated in New Mexico...

I may be alone on this but I actually don't mind their Queso. Not the best but with the lime/salt chips it's good to me
