Seems like it will be pretty awesome on the first cool fall day during football season.

Can't wait to see how many drinks are spilled over the edge.

Chicago has lots of rooftop bars. Went to one while visiting, and it was nice and comfortable even mid-summer once the sun was down.

Not sure how it would fare at home on 100 degree days.

There’s also a table dining area but I don’t want to be a creep and go take a pic of them. Also a ping pong table

It’s hot as hell but they do have fans. It’ll cool down when the sun is down and probably will be good. Lots of space on the side, all the rails have a bar so you can stand around and drink. Also apparently there’s cornhole

Ok ready for the downvotes
I have walked by countless times as the were working on this and closing the street and putting stuff up with heavy equipment
Saw it last week and thought no way are they done!!!
Looks like something you would build out by the pond on weekends off
Sorry that rooftop looks totally out of place on the street with other buildings
Chimes is first class organization and owns half the buildings/lots on the street
I expected more

All that exposed wood is going to be a rotten mess in no time.

I think it looks fine.
However, I'm curious of the view.

Like, how does the roof of five guys look?

The tree line looks like you can't see LSU for shite.

Not much for view tbh. You can see some trees, roofs in Northgate, and the New Bridge. You’re not up here for the view though tbh. Most seating areas don’t have any view except trees or sky

Yeah that looks like a nice place to chill. People act like they have never been outside in the evening/night to have a beer.

Agree with you, and let's be honest, the main draw of this is for Chimes to be able to pack more people into the building during football season.
