I haven't come across a recipe that I like more than the one I posted in my thread, and I've had good crawfish that other people have made
Posted on 3/9/17 at 11:09 am to Thib-a-doe Tiger
im going to do 1.5 bags of Chakbay
start with 1.5 boxes of salt -- taste the water and see if i should dump the rest of the salt.
worried 2 will be too much

When you say "box of salt" are you talking about the big 4 lb boxes?
Posted on 3/10/17 at 7:39 am to TigerSaint1
No. The regular sized box cylinder for kitchen use.

instead of using plain salt
you are using a tricked out salt (ZATs)
interesting

I think you should change your planned recipe.

12 garlics halved
8 onions halved
1 stalk of celery

1.5 bags of Chackbay
1.5 Salt (maybe 2)
1 8 oz bottle of liquid

Yep. You now need to add the Zat's like the previous guy suggested.
Posted on 3/10/17 at 9:08 am to Trout Bandit
why would i want to mix the seasonings?
Posted on 3/10/17 at 9:12 am to LSUvegasbombed
Because the guy suggested it just like the guy who started this thread suggested Chackbay. You're quite suggestionable is the point I'm trying to make. Pick a recipe and go with it without second-guessing it.

well check the thread on Sunday morning with my review of it
