Congratulations to the winners! There were many great submissions this time. Maybe the best yet.

Miss madamesquirrel, I am sorry about your health issues.
I was injured in the line of duty, resulting in fine hand tremors; so, I have a paid helper for kitchen tasks, and don't eat much meat, besides.
I am for sure asking her to do vegetarian versions of LouisianaLady's Rigatoni and Holygrale's corn bread creation.
It's people like Darla that make TD helpful.

Yeah.

Making your own bread may help, or hurt , your votes, but bread is just an "ingredient".

Bread crumbs, samich, toast, bread pudding, pizza, biscuits, all fair game

I would never consider pizza or biscuits to be bread, but I guess technically you are correct. They can very well be considered bread. Interesting.

I like it! I hope it draws in lots of folks and dishes. Appetizers to dessert to breakfast etc…

Sorry to hear that Lobo. I am still able to cook easy items and my husband helps more now than he ever had to before. I just don't do a lot of prep, creativity, or following of involved recipes anymore. I have a degenerative disease that causes muscle tremors and dropping things etc. I make more messes now than I do anything else

Please let us know how your helper does with the vegetarian versions!

When's the challenge? I don't have any live yeast and it takes two weeks to get a good one from flour.

I do have a Czech starter in my freezer. I made a ton of bread during lock down and then stopped.

Still haven't gotten toastable white bread down.

I just might jump into the fray and do this, no illusions of winning or finishing. I am inspired by the Casserole Challenge after looking at the creativity of each participant (enjoyed all the photos). I got an “idea” on what to make!! Never done this before …..
