How in the hell ANY Captain D's attracts customers in Louisiana is a complete mystery to me.

Always wondered how those fast food seafood places made it that close to the ocean. Lincoln, Nebraska? Sure, makes sense. Mobile, New Orleans, Jackson, not so much.

I always preferred Long John Silver's to them, but did occasionally stop at the one on Government st location every once in a while. I hadn't been in a while, but got some coupons in the mail about a week or two ago and made a not to get by there.

I hear they are building a new one in Shreveport on the site of an old Dairy Queen.

Never eaten at one, but somebody must like it.

If you want some fast fish it's not bad for the price, especially if you have coupons

the shrimp, though...

The one I've never understood is Red Lobster, aka The Salt Palace. For that money you can find a good local place.

I've never been to Joe's Crab Shack, but a friend told me it was one of the worst meals he's ever had.
