Use freezer bags if you can't vacuum seal. Add water enough to cover the fish and into the freezer.

Yes, vacuum seal either filets or half shells. They will be good for a year, at least.

I’ve got a bunch of red snapper in the freezer that I vacuum sealed. Pat the filets dry with a paper towel then vacuum seal them if you go that route.

If you can, lay the fillets out first and pre freeze them before vacuum sealing them. It makes all the difference in the world.

So just put them on a baking sheet and into freezer and once frozen then VS? Can you do shrimp the same way?

Just don’t let them stay in the freezer for days before remembering to vacuum seal them. You don’t want freezer burn.

IMO once you freeze snapper only way to cook it is fried.

snapper and flounder freeze extremely well. Shame the snapper limit is 3 and the trout limit is 25. Trout doesn't freeze well for me

No, deliver it to me and I will dispose of it properly for free.

You are welcome.
