Can anyone give me a rundown of ZaSu in New Orleans?

Search on here comes up with basically zilch as far as discussion on it.

I liked Sue Zemanick's cooking at Gautreau's and have been wanting to try this so have a reservation.

Anyone? Weird, I've never seen it discussed here. It's curious to me how little buzz it seems to get.

ETA, I guess spelling it wrong explains a lot of my difficulty.

Great place. Really like what they did with the place and color scheme. Food is above average to excellent just like Sue’s cooking has always been.

Very very good. A little pricey and portions are small, but everything we had there was great. I think we had sweetbreads, marinated crab claws (think this was a special), grilled octopus, pork cheeks.

Yours was the one review I found, after I realized I was misspelling it in my initial search attempts.

Agree with everything said here
Very good, portions a bit small, menu a bit small, but everything was fantastic
I liked their cocktails and the vibe of the space - it wasn't overly stuffy old-school nor too young

Went a few years ago not too long after they first opened. Remember the octopus app was really good. Also had some fish that was I liked a lot. Need to go back because it was a really good meal

We finally went a couple months ago. Absolutely superb experience for our Anniversary.

There, Herbsaint, and Husky have been the best 3 meals locally we have had in the last year or so.

Agree with all said here. I've been 3 times I guess. Very intimate, small and dark. A great place for a date night.
