Just ate at Anju, a Korean joint, and food was phenomenal. Will post some pics later this week.

And by the way, in the mornings it is -2°F so by no means is this is subtle brag, I am here for work and I’m freezing my arse off.

Does anybody on here have familiarity with the downtown food scene here in Calgary? I’m open for suggestions. And no, it can’t be a five-star restaurant where my bill’s going to be $200, my company is paying for it so keep it somewhat modest please. $50 max

One of my largest customers is based there. I need to go see the Stampede. I was told that was the time to be there. No way I'm going right now.......

Heard that's a serious party. Was there as a kid so no stories.

One day though, I love the rodeo.

Poutine of course. No other help sorry.

ETA: This is certainly ignorance here, but how many places would Calgary have that are over $50/ plate? Lol. Its not exactly New Orleans, NYC, LA, or San Fran when it comes to the food scene.

Had two very nice meals at Teatro and La Chaumiere. Not stellar, but very good. The company was very good so I tend to be less judgy.
