It does not exist. There are a few places that people from Nashville will recommend, but for anyone who's spent longer than a week in Louisiana, none of it will measure up. You are better off importing the ingredients and making it yourself.

I will say that Louisiana Seafood Company has the best boiled crawfish in town.

Besh used to own a restaurant called Marsh House in Downtown Nashville. I think Brian Landry (galatoires) owns it now

VooDoo Gumbo in Bellevue. Papa Boudreaux’s is in Santa FevTN but worth the drive. Everywhere else is average to disappoint.

Edit - Forgot about Marsh House. Yats in Cool Springs has a chili cheese crawfish etoufee that is pretty good.

As a motorcycle rider who's been over a lot of the U.S. over the years, I can say with certainty that "Cajun" restaurants in most states not called Louisiana are full of shite food.

Most of them think you throw some Tony's in a pot cooking on the stove and it magically becomes authentic Cajun food. Or better yet, you load it up with Tabasco sauce and that's all it takes.

Southwest generally has cheap flights to New Orleans from Nashville. Have some hot chicken instead.

Papa Boudreaux's in Santa Fe, TN.

Stop by Fly's General Store before or after. A popular spot for cyclists.

I will concur with VooDoo Gumbo in Bellevue. It is legit, the owners are from the New Orleans area. I've tried Papa Boudreaux twice. First time was almost decent. Second time was some of the most putrid crap I ever put in my mouth. Never again.
