I am glad to see fast food really making a healthy turn. It is good for all parties involved.

Served with 500 calorie fries and a supersized coke. Healthy!

It's still over 530 calories. Way too many. A six inch turkey with wheat and light mayo at Subway is 280.

I am happy that your expectations are so easily met whilst you eat.

I honestly do not see how a grown man can eat a six inch sandwhich and not still be hungry unless you're drinking a protein shake with it or something.

and a whopper no mayo has only 470 calories and 9 grams fewer fat than the Turkey burger, unless you are using ground turkey breast vs ground turkey, it is really not a whole lot better than lean ground beef, and in this case no better than fatty ground beef....the whole ground turkey thing is just image

Probably a sodium bomb like most processed turkey burgers.

As others have stated, it isn't really saving you many calories.

I like turkey burgers. I bet flame broiled it is tasty but not super healthy. Slightly better than the alternative but wiped out if you get fries and a coke with it.

The Subway sight has it at 320 Calories and 910 mg of sodium. The sodium is worse than the calories. On a 2,000 calorie diet, 530 isn't bad for a meal. Just don't eat the fries. I don't know what the sodium is though. Just looked it up, the turkey burger has over 1200 mg sodium.

If you workout & eat healthy, sodium intake is pretty irrelevant.

Pretty irrelevant? Tell your doctor that. Part of eating healthy is sodium intake. If your family has a history of heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, and other things, then sodium is pretty relevant regardless of working out.

don't believe in the hype of many doctors who don't exercise themselves.

there is nothing wrong with a little extra salt but if you are doing 6000 mg's a day and don't do shite for exercise then yeah you need help

Well the site I saw Subway is 810 and BK turkey is 980.

Both high but recommended is about 2300 mg a day so not off the charts. And how many times would a person eat one anyway? I might eat a Subway once or twice a month.

The sandwich alone is not healthy with the mayo alone

Slab of that is probably 20 g of fat right there

does it matter where the sodium comes from? I know there are a ton of different additives and preservatives companies use in food that increase the sodium level.

is consuming these more harmful than consuming the same # of mg from simple table salt?
