1. BWW
2. pluckers
3. Hooters
Hard to beat carribean jerk or Asian zing at bww...
I give my honorable mention to pizza hut, laugh all you want but the wing street locations have some damn good wings, way better than hooters.

Hooters wings are way underrated. They are just as big as Pluckers and the sauce is delicious. Although I understand if you want some variety of different sauces, I'm always down for 20 Hooters Hot. Breaded wings FTW.

Wings: Hooters, Pluckers, BWW
Flavors: Pluckers, BWW, Hooters
Services: Hooters, Pluckers, BWW
Atmosphere: Pluckers, Hooters, BWW.
I understand why some people don't like Hooters wings, but if I just want some normal buffalo hot wings, they are my favorite.

I haven't had Plucker's wings, but I will say that I've never been impressed w/BWW service nor food. It's okay, decent bar food, but for the namesake it's just.. meh. Then again, I can't have any of their flavors but the hot kind. Hooters wings are pretty good. I think hooter's wings are better than BWW.

quote:Neither have I. I've been to at least a half dozen different BWWs and the shitty food is universal. Yes they have more flavors, but what does that matter when the wings come out so fricking warm that the sauce hasn't even melted on them. The food sucks. It is never hot or fresh tasting. It all comes out of a frozen bag or is just reheated.

Hooters is only good for the Atmosphere.
their wings are too greasy IMO, if i eat more than 4, i start getting a headache..

I hate Buffalo Wild Wings. Never been to the Highland one by campus but the one on Burbank is the worst service I've ever had and their wings are fricking tiny. The sheer stupidity and nonchalance of their servers and staff's is rivaled only by what you would find at such fine establishments as Taco Bell, Burger King, and Jack in the Box.

It's safe to say, as I look over the responses in this thread, that although opinions are strong, there is significant deviation and no consensus of opinion, with the possible exception that the service at the BWW on Bluebonnet sucks donkey balls.

I made the BWW Asian Zing sauce yesterday and used it on over 50 wings I deep fried for the game. These particular wings were the best I have ever had and every single one of them was like an orgasm in my mouth where everyone was cuming. I may make 50 more today just for shits and grins.

Never heard of Pluckers, but Hooters is a lot better than B Dubs in both categories.

No rush, I won't be making them until this weekend for the Saints game. I appreciate it

I had several requests and figured I would help everyone out. Here you go:
Asian Zing
2 teaspoons cornstarch
4 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup chili-garlic sauce (sriracha!)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Fry wings at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes, then let settle for a few minutes to allow the grease to drain off. Next, dip the wings in the sauce for a few minutes in a mixer and serve warm.

Hope you enjoy. We've got all of the flavors, and she likes the buffalo ones the best.
