The best breakfast buffet of all time was the Shoney's

I used to go to the Shoney's in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Couldn't tell you the first thing about the buffet though, besides they were open late, maybe all night. Never walked into a Shoney's straight. We used to go there after a night of partying. It's a wonder none us got killed crossing the freeway from the apartments.

Shoneys was the GOAT

The new golden corrals are very nice for buffet standards. They have carving stations and made to order omelette stations

That's a reasonable response.

Funny people aren't that touchy. I rest my case.

Picadilly is the GOAT for $8 with a drink and tax. Omelette bar, buffet, waffles, french toast, and pancakes all made to order. Sherwood is the best location.

Golden corral is ok, but literally smells like arse from the front door to the back. If you want anything made to order, you're going to be there forever. The talent is D- at best.

Hilton did a remodel downtown, sucks ever since. Went from awesome and packed every morning, to empty and one cook that screws up the most basic foods.

Lauberge kicked everyone's arse up and down the block since day one. Freakin amazing. They stopped for some reason, which is a damn shame.

I can't stress enough how bad Golden Corral stinks inside. Literally makes you want to vomit.
