re: BR restaurants/bars with the bitchiest/rudest bartenders or waiters

okay i'd have to say georges! idk if this girl is really a bitch or just inept to work in the service industry. first of all, they stop serving food at 11, so i made sure i left work early enough to get there to order. so she ignores my friend and i, doesn't want to take our order, so we decide to write it down ourselves. as we try to get her attention to get our orders in (still not exactly 11), she finally acknowledges us and says "kitchen's closed" and walks away. i'm like WHAT THE HELL, the digital clock behind you says it's not 11 and yall are packed. why the hell would your kitchen be closed? that's so dumb. but whatever. got me a margarita and moved on. i got a top shelf margarita, same thing i get all the time. never had any complaints till this girl made my drink. let me just say that i'm a light weight. one drink, i'm well buzzed. so i'm expecting to drink my margarita and feel good enough to just head home and sleep reaaaallll gooood. well... i left that night not even with the slightest buzz. so i close out my one drink tab and it's an $8 drink, understanable if it actually might have had some alcohol in it! i said hmmm i didn't realize it's $8 for sweet and sour?!

THENNNNNN my friend closes out her tab and her change is $6. this girl and my friend are both pulling the ends of the money. like my friend is grabbing for her change and the bartender was i guess pulling for her tip? so as my friend is literally pulling her dollars away the girl is like "thank yall so much" with not the slightest smile or emotion on her face. gee, thanks. finally, my friend say "well i guess just give me the 1 and you keep the 5"

what a witch! i work in the service industry, so really i just require the absolute least amount of service.. but if i can't get even that little bit, then i'm upset. and i'll still go to george's, cause i'm not upset with the place, but i'll be sure to never waste my time on this same girl

Service sucks.
Food sucks.
Prices suck.

Also, Pastimes for all the same reasons.(except for the bar/lounge at Pastimes, that place is alright)

Big fat gal behind the counter at Q'Doba.. Guy next to me asks "How are the taco's?" She looks at him with this sarcastic expression on her face and says, "Like tacos"..

Stop right there.
You're supposed to write down your own order and hand it to them at George's. If you're waiting for them to come take it, you'll be waiting a long time because you are supposed to do it yourself there.

I don't think it's a coincidence that george's and pastimes are the only two places I get poor service. The employees at both are rude.

eta: I don't go into either restaurant pissed off bc I'm expecting bad service. I quit going after I consistently received bad service.

its not so much that i waited for her to take my order... i go all the time, i'm not a total idiot! although 9/10 times i go they write it down. the point was that she purposfully IGNORED us even after we had been waving our tickets around like "heyyyy i've got an order fo youuuu" (not literally spoken out loud).

it wouldn't have pissed me off as bad if she wouldn't have ignored us. i work in the service industry and if the kitchen was closed, she should have jsut told us that upfront when we CLEARLY were wanting to have our order put in and she was CLEARLY ignoring us.

i mean come on, you're a bartender... ask if i want a drink, and if your kitchen's closed just tell me so. but all in all she jsut sucked.
