Hey guys, I'm going to grab my dad a nice bottle of bourbon for Father's Day, but need some ideas. Blanton's is usually my go to for him but I want to go a different direction. What are some that you guys enjoy and recommend?
Thanks in advance!

I've just started trying to really get into bourbon recently.
Very Good!
Jefferson's Ocean
Blanton's
Woodford Double Oaked
Barrel Bourbon Infinite Barrel Project
The Balvenie 14yr Rum Cask (scotch)
Good!
Four Roses Single Barrel
Knob Creek Single Barrel
114 Old Grand Dad
Bulliet Bourbon (have not yet tried single barrel)
Bulliet Rye
Michter's Rye
Wild Turkey 101 Rye
Jefferson's Very Small Batch
Not a fan of!
1792 Bottled in Bond
Old Forrester Rye
Very Good!

Uncle Nearest is good. Goes for $55 or so, depending on which style.

Bookers. You’re welcome

If we are talking something that will be readily available to grab off the shelf I’d say Woodford Double Oak or Forrester 1920 like Toof said.

What he said.
I'll add Woodford Double Oaked to that, which others have said as well.
It is one I have been thoroughly enjoying, and is one in Alabama that I can actually get.

But seriously, I would suspect in the bourbon realm anything from Eagle Rare to Blanton's would be acceptable. I can't ever think of a time I got a bottle of bourbon as a gift and thought "You monster, why the hell didn't you get me Willet's Pot Still Reserve?"
Exactly. My go to bourbon is Old Forester 100 proof, so I'm not that picky. Sometimes I'll "splurge" and get Makers 46. I've had everything from cheap stuff that isn't even suitable for mixing to Booker's, Blanton's, etc. If someone gets me a bottle I thank them and enjoy it.
