Whats up guys. Im a long time lurker and just wanted to yalls opinion on how long to boil crabs. A buddy of mine caught a bunch in the lake/Northshore today and wants me to cook them. I boil a lot of crawfish but haven't done crabs in a couple years and forgot the time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I bring 'em back to a boil for 5 minutes, then drop in some ice, cut the fire and soak 25 to 30 minutes or until they taste right to me.

Why? Do you steam them? Or just boil with Old Bay

Just teasing. That guy steams his...he's got Maryland roots. Bring 'em to a medium boil in well seasoned water for 5 minute, cut the fire, drop in a few lbs of ice, drink 2 or 3 beers and then eat.
