Salvo’s in Belle Chasse will sometimes have Dungeness crab, crawfish are great too.

May want to call and check which crab they have.

The best place for crabs 'around Nola' is the Jourdan River Steamer, but the Dungeness won't be boiled. They have all sorts of shellfish, but not crawfish...really though you'd rather have one of their other offerings.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are going today (Sunday) for lunch and half the people want crawfish, half want crabs. I think we’re gonna check out Cajun Seafood on Claiborne since it’s the only one I can find open for lunch that does both

It's back open and fully on point.

They built a raised concrete slab building.

What took so long is that the previous contractor died when the wet slab broke containment and collapsed. Terrible accident.

But enough of that, place is awesome. Can't wait to boat up there from the yacht club.

I was always bummed that I never made it there before it closed down. Glad to hear that they’ve reopened. Now I just need a menu to look at.

I noticed on some of the online reviews people were complaining about no menu on the website.
