Visiting a friend this weekend and am looking for a place we can go, sit down and eat our boiled Crawfish. Price is not an issue as long as it is good.

If you google you will see a ton of places with "cajun" in the name. That doesnt mean shite. I am always looking for spots but its hard to tell what is actually good. It really depends on how you like them as well.

Actually it means "stay far far away"

To the OP, Check out Good Ole Boys in Katy across the freeway from the school district offices. And they don't do that dusting crap.

I’m personally not a fan of Good Ol Boys crawfish. I don’t trike the taste of the seasoning they use. BB’s on the Grand Parkway usually does a good job, as does Orleans at I-10&Westgreen. I haven’t had any yet this year, still a little early for me.

Someone told me a few years back that BBs does some sort of mustard coating on the crawfish. They say it’s good, but I’ve never tried it.

I do like the overstuffed shrimp and oyster poboy over there.

Mustard coating? I can’t say I recall ever having it served to me that way. Also, a lot of people seem to enjoy the Vietnamese preparation of crawfish. Crawfish & Noodles would be another option to check out.

Just for the crawfish or at all? In-Laws live in Firethorne, and we have been talking about trying this place for a year.....

texas people like to do this weird thing where they season after boil.

I like the boil house in the heights, they do it right. they season during the boil and don't coat their crawfish in tony's.
