Almost never a good idea to order

they now have a bar open downstairs with seating. The downstairs bar was pretty busy.

Sounds like a nice spot for a drink.

We had tried to go Thursday evening after work, but they were full and on a 45 minute wait.

Yep. On Saturday or Sunday afternoons, I will go to either Brisbi's deck, or Blue Crab for drinks only. Don't think I will be ordering food out there any time soon.

And I have to throw this in. When we left the Blue Crab Thursday because of the wait, we ended up at Landry's. Holy shite do I hate that place. Kids again were pushing this issue to eat on the lake and we really didn't want to drive off anywhere else.
I took one look at the menu and remember what a overpriced shithole this place was. I told my wife were weren't wasting our money and suggested we split a salad. Done.
Kids had their garbage kids meal.

Crawfish and crab cake for $24.99. Shrimp Alfredo or some shite like that for around $20.

It would be awesome for the Lakefront to be the hot spot it once was on Sunday afternoons.

I just really miss the west end area on weekends from time to time.
When the bigger volleyball tourneys were being held, I used to love to ride my bike out and either play some pick up ball or just watch and drink half the afternoon and then go to one of the restaurants and drink and eat. The people watching was interesting at those places.

I went recently. Got the crab dip against my better judgment which I regretted, and the snapper which was very good. Gf got the snapper almondine and it was good too. Enjoyed the setting and environment.
