Some people I know worship Blue Bell here in Houston. Refuse to eat anything else
Well based solely on taste Blue Bell is hands down better than all the other brands like Blue Bunny, Breyer's, Edy's, Tillamook, etc.
IMO Haagen-Dazs and Baskin Robbins are the only others that come close.
I don't eat Ben & Jerry's....those guys are too weird for me.

What’s else are we supposed to eat? Blue Bell is the best mass produced ice cream.

Food Service News? Are they MAGA or anti MAGA?

The worship of money will be the downfall of many people. Mr Kruse is one in countless CEOs/owners who have and will continue to fall because of it.

Ben and Jerry's is the most overrated shite known to man. It's good. It's ice cream. That's about it. Some of their flavors are a complete miss.
It's easy not to support them because of their politics because the product isn't worth it.

I mean it's not that shocking. Kruse is gone, why should other employees suffer?

In order for this to happen, there has to be company widespread knowledge. This wasn’t 1 man no matter how the story reads.
This company knowingly made ice cream that could kill you. They didn’t fix it. They hid it. They deleted evidence. And they kept making it. My point is, you shouldn’t be happy about it.
I still buy Blue Bell on occasion, but I have purposely tried other brands because I was mad at them for what they did. I may still enjoy their products, but I’m not going to praise them.
Also, remember when there was the licking of the blue bell ice cream going on in stores? How the hell can BB justify not adding a plastic film on the cartons now? That, I’ll never understand.

It’s 100x better than blue bell

Yeah, I’m not buying food from a company that knowingly hid health/safety data. No thanks. It’s fluffy air filled crap anyway.

I don't favor products because of politics, unless the company is run by a liberal horse's arse. I am diabetic so I only eat my own homemade ice cream with no sugar. That being said, BB was my favorite brand for years, their peanut butter cup ice cream was heavenly, I even ate it with a crack in my tooth that sent me through the ceiling with every bite.
B&J is pretty good, I visited their plant in Burlington, VT, lots of flavors, good mouth feel, rich. I hope BB has seen the error of their ways and is now even more cautious than competitors, kind of like Union Carbide after Bhopal, India.
