I think the service has gotten allot better since it first opened.. wanted to mention.. try the avocado egg rolls

I've been twice. The pizza is good if you like deep dish, although its a little bit on the expensive side but not terribly. Everything I've tried other than the pizza is average at best. The cream soda and root beer are good. The homebrewed beer is ok. The service is absolutely awful. It was worse the second time I went about 3 months ago than it was the first time I went about 2 months after they opened

Its pretty baffling. Both times I got the impression that the servers didn't know what they were doing at all. The first time I chalked it up to being a new restaurant.
The second time was just an all around clusterfrick from what I could tell. The server didn't know where simple things where like napkins or setups, he took FOREVER to do anything even though he wasn't busy (based on the number of tables in his section). We waited 45 minutes for our apps and then our pizzas came out 5 minutes after them. I think the place is laid out pretty badly for the servers. They have to walk a fricking mile to the bar or kitchen if they have a section off the right of the door.

Went once. What I ordered sucked, the pizza I ate off someone else's plate was decent. Good atmosphere but I don't see myself driving to Bluebonnet for that.

Correct, the beer is NOT brewed on site so the only way it's a "brewhouse" is they brew root beer.

I second the Avacado Egg Rolls.I've had good times there,I sit in the bar area and try diff brews while watching 6 big screens,what's not to like.

i dont mind the food there, but i find the service terrible. i have suggested to meet a friend there twice and both times i was fine with the food, but was embarrassed that i picked the place due to the service.

we always sit at the bar when we do to BJs .. food's not bad .. the beer's good .. and yes, at the tables, the service is spotty at best ... sitting at the bar, we just avoid that crap ... go try the place and just sit at the bar .. totally different experience ...

the lunch menu is not bad, but not great.
last time i went i ordered the pot roast sammich. in no way, shape or form was it a sammich. it was pot roast, mashed potatos and a slice of french bread. i was disappointed to say the least.
