Biloxi Burger Recs?

Looking for a local joint in the area. I’m avoiding the tourist-y, casino places.

It’s a VERY local divey type joint, but if it’s open, the Project Lounge located right at the gates of Keesler AFB has the best burger in that area.

They may or may not have a burger, but go by Desporte & Sons Seafood, at 1075 Division St in Biloxi. 228-432-1018
They have lots of fresh (raw) seafood, but better than that, they have a smallish dining area, with fish, shrimp and oyster Poboys, seafood plates, fried stuff and maybe burgers. I honestly don't know because a burger is always the last thing on my mind when we go there.

I’ve not tried their burger, but sounds like something the fillin station would do well.

Several solid recommendations here and I was unaware of this burger opportunity. Shame on me. At least I have a new place to burger down on the beach.

Just had Project Lounge for the first time and it did not disappoint. Bartender said they have been a lot slower because there is no AFB business anymore with covid restrictions. Even more reason to support a great dive.
