The shite talkers are always the ones that can't afford to upgrade from their Walmart special...

Nope, that joker is heavy. It's in its final resting place on my deck, I'm not moving it again.
I wasn't in the market, the wife thought she could get a good deal. $750 for the large egg with the nest, from what I can tell...I think it's a good price.

It is and I'm not sure how they're set up but I'd bet it similar. If so, firebox divider is very useful.

Said no owner ever.

I don't think the egg has a divider.

I really like the Ash Tool.
Definitely get one of these. They come in handy.
I have a Looflighter and a cheap electric starter. I have gone back to the cheap electric starter. Don't have to wait around and hold the button like the Looflighter and much cheaper.

Do you need the plate setter to do chicken?

I agree you don't need a platesetter for chicken. But it does prevent drippings from flaming up and charring the chicken. I wouldn't skip the chicken if you don't have the platesetter, but I would definitely use it if you already have one.
Also make sure you toss in some wood chips or chunks. Love the smoky flavor!
