eta- i'm sure I've picked up a Kroger brand in my day as well. It's the same stuff imo.

I honestly can't tell much difference either. Last week I had Canada Dry, this week I have Schweppes on hand. My drink tastes about the same.

<--obviously has an unrefined palate and doesn't belong on this board

Ugh...I once tried Albertson's ginger ale because I couldn't find a name brand. But tonic water all tastes the same to me, so I'm not opposed to buying store brands of it.

I do prefer the small bottles over the liter ones though, because I want it to be as fizzy as possible. Big bottles always seem to taste flat after the first drink, IMO.

Albertsons has the 12 pack of cans of diet tonic. Pretty cheap and it's nice to always have a carbonated tonic.

I've always seen those fancy looking selections at places like Calandro's... I'm sure that's something else that once you go good you'll never go back to the cheap stuff again.

As the local G&T connoisseur, I must agree with this assessment.

Hendrick's + Fever Tree + cucumber peel (not the flesh...rookie mistake) = heaven.

His favorite alcoholic beverage is Purple Haze...I think his wrist is too limp to hold a bottle of gin.

Hendrick's recipe involving Fresca and white cranberry juice is also spot on. shite is delicious.

There is nothing wrong with a Purple Haze, Jewbilly. That's fine LSU gameday drinking when Jim Beam ain't around.

I'm a whiskey kind of dude anyway. Knob and Sprite, twist that lemon and sip...like a sir.
