I honestly can't tell much difference either. Last week I had Canada Dry, this week I have Schweppes on hand. My drink tastes about the same.

Schweppes majority of the time but its sometimes hard to turn down the 1ltr Albertsons brand for $1

Ugh...I once tried Albertson's ginger ale because I couldn't find a name brand.
But tonic water all tastes the same to me, so I'm not opposed to buying store brands of it. I do prefer the small bottles over the liter ones though, because I want it to be as fizzy as possible. Big bottles always seem to taste flat after the first drink, IMO.

Albertsons has the 12 pack of cans of diet tonic. Pretty cheap and it's nice to always have a carbonated tonic.

There is nothing wrong with a Purple Haze, Jewbilly. That's fine LSU gameday drinking when Jim Beam ain't around.
