My favorite cut would be a toss up between a bone-in ribeye or chateaubriand.

The best I've ever had?

The chateaubriand at Bern's in Tampa is pretty solid.

The bone-in ribeye at Bobby Vann's in NYC or Prime in ATL would be a close second.

You talking about grilling, because the whole cow is tasty if you cook it right? Hell, my mom can cook up a round steak with an onion gravy that'll blow you away. Even better, the goulash the next day with the left overs. Heaven.

Judging by the 3 pages of previous posts, yes.
Well, some sort of searing or grilling I would say...

Ribeye.

It's a toss up.

1. The ribeye at Plaza III Steakhouse in Birmingham. (formerly the Copper Grill)

or

2. The bone-in ribeye at Morton's in New Orleans.

Oh yeah, think about what getting comped actually cost you in real American dollars...

It cost me nothing. I worked for Jack Binion, and I had RFB privileges. RFB stands for room, food and beverage.

My fiance's uncle worked at a casino. He killed himself. I've heard that being a dealer is one of the most depressing jobs that you can have, thus ,the high number of suicides. What's your experience with this sort of thing/talk?
Serious question...

I can't help you there. I just handled tax matters for Jack and the casinos.

Anything with the bone in.

Porterhouse at Peter Lugers in Brooklyn and it's not close. This is worth a trip to NY no matter where you live.

I will add that chateaubriand at Antoine's with marchand de vin as also awesome. Had some great ones at Dickie's too.

That's where I get my steaks. I have only gotten the Prime steaks a couple of times, because the USDA Choice steaks are very good, as well.

Louisiana residents need to petition Costco to open up stores there. It is like Sam's Club, except more upscale - better quality stuff and better employees.
