re: Best Steak/Steakhouse in Baton Rouge?

Ruth’s gets my vote, and even so, Ruth's isn't all that great. My past two experiences at Fleming’s weren’t good and I won’t return. I’ve found they’ve gone downhill over the past several years. Doe’s is solid as well, though not as good as the Greenville or Monroe locations.

I really like Ruth's steaks but think their sides suck, too bland.
Sullivan's has better sides but I like the butter coating fron Ruth's better than the au jus topper at Sullivan's, for the steak.

Very strange 3 year bump. That said, I will give the nod to Ruffino’s for best steak in BR - they started dry aging their own steaks and Ive had some awesome steaks since. Most consistant? That can be argued, but when its hittin, its hittin.

Ruth Chris a close 2nd... a little distance between them and Flemings. Doe’s can do a pretty good one if that atmosphere is good w u and ur cool w splitting a steak.

Then there is everyone else.
