Oh I still eat chips on the side along with the sandwich. But I always put some of them on/in the sandwich itself.

Not the best by any stretch but one I crave once a month or so, I hafta have a bananna with Dukes on white bread with Lay's chips and a cold glass of milk...

I love a jersey mikes Italian, mikes way, add pepper relish and then put Mrs Vickie’s jalapeño chips on the sandwich
The best sandwich known (outside of the first tomato sandwich of the year from your garden) is a turkey and Kraft single with shredded lettuce, dukes and salt and vinegar kettle chips on a single slice of sun beam giant folded in half at about 2pm at the beach after drinking since 9am. And then the other half after you drink another beer or two and head back down to sit for the rest of the day

Fresh Evangeline Maid Bread, chopped ham, American cheese, nacho cheese Doritos. Assemble the sandwich with the Doritos between the cheese and the bread and smash it. shite's amazing.

That’s a peach of a combo right there. Another childhood favorite was a hot bologna and cheese with cool ranch Doritos
