Is the Palace Cafe still open? It wasn't exactly world class food, but the retro atmosphere made it worth a visit.

I heard Soileau's went downhill a bit with new ownership?? I haven't been in probably 8-9 years, though.
Palace Cafe is a good lunch spot. Fried chicken and fried catfish is excellent, IMO.

I've stopped at Palace Cafe a few times. The crawfish bisque with the stuffed shells is good.

Id definitely do pizza shack.
Soileaus is decent.
Best fried chicken around is at joes sandwich shop. I highly recommend.
I never did like palace cafe.
A new place opened up right across from soileaus, but i havent tried it.
There are some decent places in the surrounding towns also, but some are only open on weekends.
