Best place you got liver and onions

This was a couple weeks ago at Cafe Degas, I had it a half a dozen times and have not had better

Yep, Cafe Degas is my favorite as well. That place is truly an underrated gem.

Need to hit up Cafe Degas...

Best in Nola was Sassafras. Best ever was at The Monocle in Washington, DC

Luby's. However, that was more than fifteen years ago. As much as I love it, I rarely seem to have it. Champagne's Deli in the Oil Center has it on occasion.

It's still great. When we go to Longview to visit my sister-in-law, liver and onions at Luby's is a must. Same thing when we're in Houston. I really hated to see the Louisiana locations (Shreveport, Bossier, and West Monroe IIRC) close.

My second choice is Fiorella Cafe on Franklin Ave and Filmore.
