If you're headed east go to Silver Star out by Louisiana Downs. Pretty decent food and hot waitresses.

Kim's Seafood is not far from you. Run by Katrina displaced New Orleans Asian family. Nothing fancy, but good and generous portions.
Los Portillos in Bossier has good tacos and other Mex. Right by a ra onto I 20.

Superior grill on Line ave. not exactly on the river, but close enough. Pretty good TexMex
