You could ask 10 people and get 10 answers.

For boudin I like Chops (Broussard) or Earls (Verot School Rd.) or if you don't mind a drive...Poche's in Breaux Bridge is my favorite hands down.

For sausage I like Don's (scott or carencro) or Earls again.

Yes...Earls on Verot has both good boudin and sausage. The "best" in Lafayette is just based on what style you personally like the most. all are good to me, some just better.
