Hey guys,
I recently bought a Carolina Cooker (10 gallon) cast iron pot for cooking jambalaya for large gatherings. I have a recipe for the jambalaya. HOWEVER, I really enjoy Pastalaya more than jambalaya. So my question to you guys is:
What is the best pastalaya recipe that you know of? Something that would work best in the cast iron pot. I will take all recipes and/or youtube videos that you think are best.
If all works out, I may take a drive up to Kentucky and cook for the victims of the recent tornados there.
Please HELP!
Thanks!

Take the amount of cups of water you use for jambalaya and divide it by 4. That’s how many pounds of pasta you need.
Cook it the same as a jambalaya. When your water gets to a boil, add the pasta and simmer it until the water is soaked up. Turn your fire off. Cover the pot and let it sit for 10-20 minutes.
That’s it.

you can literally make the same exact recipe but sub spaghetti for rice. It can be that easy.
It can also be very different.
Go look up Southern Boyz on youtube, they have a recipe that is a bit different but seems good. Also Stale Kracka, but some on here hate him.
Also, add a big can of cream of mushroom soup to make it somewhat "saucy"

I've done cream of mushroom and cream of chicken. Also some blocked velveeta. May have stole both of those from the cracka we do not speak of

I like the creamy aspect that the cream of onion, cream of chicken and velveeta add.

Download the latest version of the Jambalaya Calculator HERE. Click the download button in the top left corner.
There's a tab for PASTALAYA.
