Headed down tomorrow for a few days, where’s a good family friendly spot for a man to grub on 4-5 pounds of crawfish

And I can order crawfish for one and eat them there on site? Rest of the family is lame and won't eat them.

Sure can. Both places also have fried seafood for your family members

Of course. Why wouldn’t you be able to?
Bevi has better options for the rest of the fam. Very good poboys.
Edit: if you want a fried seafood platter I guess go with Clesi’s. But I like Bevi better in general because I like their boil and I like their poboys.

If you have to ask you can't afford them!!!! $6-7 per pound boil!

Probably because there are a number of places that sell excellent boiled crawfish, but you cannot eat them there because they don't have tables.
Dennis'
Schaefer Seafood
Captain Sid's
Just to name a few
It was a fair question from OP.

I was about to ask if they places like this inside the city. Thinking about grabbing a few pounds and taking them to another spot with a good patio when there in a few weeks.

I really don't know. I am sure they have some but I don't have experience getting from vendors in the city.
You could always run to Bevi or something like that and get 5-10 pounds to go...

He asked for restaurants.

Salvos in Belle Chasse is always a decent option

I know the OP asked for restaurants.
OP just wanting to confirm there was seating at your suggestions. It's a fair question.
Aware the places I named are not sit down restaurants and are markets.
Thanks for your follow up.

yeah well it helped me out because as I was looking at this thread I thought it might be nice to pick up a few pounds and head to another establishment or somewhere outside.

Got Bevi's on Carollton on Saturday and they were very good. 10 pounds, 2 dead and the rest were medium to large. I think they were $4.99/#. Got the corn, sausage, potatoes sides; the corn was awful.. and I mean terrible. Not a fan of the po-boys; I don't like seeded french bread, but that's just me.

I've never had them at R & O's, but if they've started serving them there, it's definitely a family oriented restaurant with a huge menu of other options for the folks who don't want crawfish.
