This is a good example for whoever was asking why you get downvoted to hell on here

Your approach and delivery is garbage.

I stand corrected. Your mexi-slop comment was informative and cerebral.

There are some decent authentic Mexican options in the area. Here are a few In no particular order:

1. Tacos El Mosco - food truck that sets up in the parking lot of CSC Customs on Airline

2. Taqueria Don Beto - they have a truck on Airline between Prairieville and Gonzales and a brick and mortar restaurant in Gonzales

3. Birria & Barbacoa de Chivo Los Compadres - Baton Rouge

4. Sahuayo - Gonzales

I do hate to drag this out but have you actually eaten there or do you just have screenshots saved for this type of thread?

but its not hard to make decent fajitas.

Is that why 99% of the grease and cheese Tex Mex places in the state have crappy fajitas?
Because in my experience, they all use damn near the cheapest/toughest meat possible and aren't worth a damn.

Beef tacos are what I find are hard to screw up.
And baws love them some free chips and salsa. Don't ever try to have a place that doesn't give them out free or there will be screaming.

It’s literally on their Instagram page, anyone can look at it anytime they want. Why do you care if someone doesn’t like SG? I think the food is sub par and way over priced. I still go there from time to time bc it’s a solid atmosphere and fun to go with a group. It’s just funny how upset y’all get when you say SG has great fajitas, and I post a picture of SG fajitas posted by SG

Everyone acknowledged that the fajitas in the picture looked like shite and we have no idea why they would post that. We also all said we have never gotten anything on a fajita plate that has looked like that.

People rail on you because you have this weird hatred for Superior while saying an objectively worse place is much better.

And you started this entire anti Superior Grill thing with something that was so completely false that you got laughed at by everyone on here. From there, I dont think anyone can takes you seriously when it comes to restaurants

Tacos El Mosco

Totally agree - plus the people that own it are actually from Mexico so it’s pretty authentic

Noticed on their pics they actually use a autodoner/shawarma machine for their al pastor, like almost everywhere in Mexico does, don't think I've ever seen anyone in Baton Rouge use them...rarely even saw them in Houston.

...Gonna need to check them out

You: I drove past Superior at 9am on a Tuesday and they were cooking food for Thursday. Absolute total trash!!!
Everyone: Restaurants cook plenty of things beforehand. Its called prep
