Who has the best liquor prices in New Orleans? I used to think that that it was Dorignac's, but recently I have found their prices to be significantly higher.

I vote Costco. Even many of their own Kirkland brand liquors are very good and at a very good price to boot.

1.75 Vodka is $12.99
1.75 White Tequila is $19.95
1.75 Baccardi Rum is around $15 or so
1.75 Gin is around the $15 I believe but it's been a while since I bought rum or gin.

Wine prices are excellent too.

Costco with a narrow inventory but Elios and Martins do not screw the customer and stay in range of expected retail.

Elios, Martin’s, Zuppardo’s and Costco usually have good prices, but they vary for each product.

Don’t know about price but Dorignacs has impressive wine, beer and liquor selections. Always amazed.

I've always been impressed with their selection, but I started to notice their prices are significantly higher. I've been going Martin's. I was just curious who had the best prices.

Total Wine here is ok. Not my favorite place here in Houston (speaking for liquor, not wine). The only things well priced are their house brand things, which the salesmen try to push on you. In general prices are good, but I've noticed whenever they have a barrel pick of something, it's always way higher than the regular price.

I'll continue to buy from Martin's mostly when I'm back home.

Try looking in the International Market in Metairie right off Cleary. Really good prices there. The Indians there almost give some alcohol away

Dorignacs will put some things on nice sales, but overall they put high price points on their stock. They are shady with that, especially with their bourbons.

Acquistipace is your best pricing anywhere in SE La. Not only do they have an incredible selection, they keep everything at lower prices than anyone else. When we moved to Lakeview a few years back I started buying at Dorignac's. Their selection is quite nice. Once I started noticing the stark differences in price, I stopped going there and would make a monthly trip to Aqcuistipace and stock up there. Their honesty is enough alone for me to do that trip.

Dorignac's was good for a last minute buy. I know they will have what I want, and that's good.

My point is, take the 30min ride to Acquistipace and bulk buy. You'll be happier with both the money saved, the workers, their knowledge and the selection. It's a fantastic store

maybe but logistically living on the south shore, the gas cost and toll on the bridge would most likely negate any savings.

On top of that just being a pain in the arse unless you have another reason to drive up there.

There’s a reason I only agreed with THAT SPECIFIC PART of his post.

That said, if you live on the Southshore have business on the Northshore, it definitely pays to drop in there.

Always stop when I am up there.

I hit in this order

(1) Elios
(2) Martins uptown and Metry
(3) Zuppardos
(4) River Ridge
(5) Lakeview grocery
(6) Rouses but no luck with limited releases
(7) Brady’s but I think they are a bit high in price

We also have a FBD Seal team willing to hit a certain house (inside joke)
